The International Disease Management Alliance [IDMA] is a not-for-profit association whose mission is to facilitate the global exchange of experience in the enhancement of programs for chronic disease management and prevention. IDMA currently reaches chronic disease professionals in over 62 countries and has delegates in 25 countries. Through its educational programs and resource services the IDMA supports global disease management and wellness initiative and facilitates the evolution and expansion of disease management in the United States. The Home Care Technology Association of America (HCTAA) provides a voice within Congress and health care to advance the accessibility and use of technology in home care and hospice settings.  Home care includes all types of services and products that enhance the ability of the infirm or disabled of all ages to live in their home and remain fully integrated in the community. Hospice includes all types of palliative care for the terminally ill. The Association shall fulfill its mission by:

Objective #1 - Legislative and Political
  • Promoting a public policy agenda that supports and enhances the availability and use of technology in home care, hospice, and health care settings.
  • Lobbying for the reimbursement of hardware and software for use by home health providers.
  • Providing an organized and unified technology voice within the home care and hospice industry.
Objective #2 - Educate and Increase Awareness Among Health Care Providers
  • Increasing awareness in the home care field about the benefits of technology through educational programs and targeted communications to the home health field.
  • Promoting technology and awareness in home care and hospice as a viable component of the health care delivery system.
  • Fostering, developing, and promoting high standards of patient care in home care and hospice services using technology.
  • Disseminating and exchanging information with those interested in the use of technology in health care settings.

MoHCA, the Mobile Healthcare Alliance, is dedicated to the adoption of mobile technologies to support the delivery of higher quality healthcare.
